My gods it's been a long time coming since I wrote a journal.. how awkward. In truth it's mostly been due to lack of motivation. As much as over the past couple months I had wanted to draw, due to personal issues the urge was never there. Sigh, I legitimately wondered if it'd ever come back. Depression does strange things and has an incredible habit of sapping anything remotely fun out of your life..

BUT, things seem to of taken a turn in the right direction, and that's always nice. No, I haven't managed to shake the looming shadow over me, I'm still on a lengthy waiting list for aid in that department but for one reason or another the urge has returned. That makes me pretty happy, and it's nice to consistently start producing work again

To go along with the title of said journal I extremely hope what happened this week as a huge motivator to really sink my teeth into a potential art career again. For those who don't know, I... am kind of a Rooster Teeth nut. RWBY in particular has been a keen interest in my life for quite a while and not too long ago I was drawing some fan art to go along with it. Anyways.. to cut a long story short, at the end of each episode this season the producers pick one particular piece of fan art and feature it at the end credits of the episode. You can just imagine my face when I found out on the latest episode... one my Beowolf pieces of art displayed.

I felt like crying, lmao. Those I was in a skype call with lost it on almost the same level as I did it was insanity. Gods were my hands shaking xD. So yeah! to have a company I've admired for so long acknowledge an art piece I put a ton of effort into really boosted my spirits on how I feel about my art. It meant the world, it really had.

SO, with luck, fingers crossed I may very soon re-open my commissions again if people appear to be interested at all. It'll be nice to do some experimenting an get some good practice in again.

Obviously I'm better at drawing certain creatures (ie. Canines) then others  - so venturing outside of 'that' area you're warned it may not turn out as great lol. It makes for an interesting challenge though!

You luring little bastard. Sigh. I can't even say it was a waste of a night because.. well I just can't o_o. Maybe tommorrow will be a better day? Yesssss? Some people need to crack a whip and make me focus better because apparently I have the attention span of a goldfish.

Might try to get a commission sheet up and running soon too. Drawing and creating things is becoming alot more favorable lately and I'd like an excuse to do it more.
